Jul 23, 2012 - Dame Fashola Leads COWLSO To Donate Incubator To LASUTH

The Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials, COWLSO, has donated some medical equipment to the State University Teaching Hospital.

Presenting the equipment, which include a set of incubator, the leader of the group and the Lagos State First Lady, Dame Emmanuella Abimbola Fashola said that the donation was part of COWLSO's contributions to the growth of the state.

She said that the group is donating this vital equipment after extensive investigation of the need of the hospital, calling on LASUTH management to make judicious use of it.

Another equipment presented would be used to detect breast cancer and, according to the First Lady, the donation became imperative to save lives of mothers in the State.

To promote clinical hygiene at the hospital, Dame Fashola informed LASUTH management that COWLSO is planning to present hands sanitizers to them soon.

She said, "We support anything that is good for the State and will do our best to support our children to get good health. Any child that is given birth to in Lagos is our child".

Present at the occasion were other members of the COWLSO and top management staff of LASUTH.
