Dec 3, 2009 - Family Care Year End/Christmas Party For Lagos State Underprivileged Children
Today is another happy day for the less privileged children in Lagos State as we are gathered here to savour the excitement of the annual Christmas/End of the Year party organised by Family Care Association.
I am aware that earlier this morning, these children were treated to a film show at the Citi Mall Cinema.
On behalf of the Lagos State Government particularly these special children drawn from the various Homes in the State, I want to appreciate and commend Family Care Association for this kind humanitarian gesture that has been consistently demonstrated over the years. With this annual event, the underprivileged are given the opportunity to experience the joy and excitement that are associated with this season.
This indeed is a good example worthy of emulation by all. The care for the less privileged is the responsibility of everyone. We need to show them love as a mark of appreciation to God almighty for His blessings and grace on us.
Once again, I commend Family Care Association and all those that have contributed towards making this event a reality.
