I am pleased to be here this afternoon to join you all, particularly patients, pregnant women, mothers and babies at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, in celebrating Easter, a day in which we celebrate the reconstruction of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I wish to commend Vitafoam Nigeria Plc for sponsoring this event which I am informed is organised annually at different hospitals to boost the morale of those on admission as a result of different health conditions. Remembering on a day like this by giving them the opportunity to savour the joy of Easter will no doubt uplift their spirit, as well as bringing about a greater sense of belonging.
By this kind gesture Vitafoam has once again demonstrated its commitment to its corporate social responsibility which is about caring for the welfare needs of the people. It is a good example worthy of emulation not only by corporate organisations but also well meaning individuals.
On behalf of the good people of Lagos State, the management of Lagos State University Teaching Hospital particularly all the patients receiving treatment in the hospital, I want to express deep appreciation to Vitafoam for making this year’s Easter celebration a memorable one for those who as a result of ill health could not enjoy this festive season in comfort of their homes with their families.
I wish you abundant blessings of God as you continue to make life comfortable for everyone through your quality mattresses and pillows.
