Jan 25, 2008 - Promo On National Immunization Plus Days
Hello Lagosians, I am Mrs. Abimbola Fashola the 1st Lady of Lagos State, I am using this opportunity to appeal to fathers and mothers, guardians, care-givers, heads of schools, traditional rulers, religious and community leaders to please take advantage of the on-going round of National immunization plus days (NIPDs).
Recently we had four outbreaks of polio in Lagos State , as a result of these; all hands must be on deck to make sure that all our children from 0-5 years receive Oral Polio Vaccine. The vaccinators will be going from house to house to administer the vaccine to our children to protect them against polio from February 23rd to February 26th, 2008. I want you to know that children that do not receive the vaccine are the ones that are likely to come down with polio.
This is part of the preventive Health policy of this administration and it is for a Brighter Rewarding future of Lagos State and its citizens.
