Dec 6, 2007 - 10th Year Celebration Of Curatia Education And Launching Of Education Teachers Training Institute
It is a great delight for me to be part of this occasion celebrating 10 years of Curatia Education and Launching of the Teachers Training Institute.
I congratulate the Chairman, Board of Directors and former Chief Judge of Lagos State, Hon. Justice Sotuminu, Directors, Management and Staff of Curatia Education on this occasion and also commend you for the impressive contribution you have made in the field of educational consultancy and child psychology in Nigeria.
Education especially the critical aspect of teaching has undergone various stages of research with the objective of identifying best method and technique of impacting knowledge particularly in the formal education system. The need to continuously update the knowledge and experience of teachers in line with current technique and methods cannot be overemphasized if we are to achieve the desire of giving qualitative education to our children within the context of the challenges of the 21st century.
It is noteworthy that as a charitable non-governmental organisation, Curatia Education has in the past ten years contributed to the realisation of government policy on education through the much needed training and assistance it has given to both teachers and parents particularly in Lagos State. Given the calibre of well meaning personalities involved with this laudable initiative, I have to doubt in my mind that greater achievements will be recorded by Curatia Education in the very near future.
Once again, I congratulate the Board, Management and Staff of Curatia Education and wish you success in your future plans particularly the establishment of a Teacher Training Institute being launched today.
