Sep 27, 2007 - Annual General Scientific Meeting Of Medical Women Association Of Nigeria, Lagos State Branch
I congratulate the President, Medical Women’s Association of Nigeria, Lagos State branch, Dr. Tutu Sere-Arije, the Local Organising Committee and the entire members of the Association on this occasion marking the formal opening of the 2007 Annual General Scientific Meeting with the theme “Capacity in the Health Sector – The Challenges.”
Let me also congratulate you for the giant strides which you have achieved especially in the management of this very important branch of your association. It is very heartwarming to note that MWAN Lagos State has continued to sustain its leading position among other branches of the Association in Nigeria.
I want to use this opportunity to thank and commend you for the supportive role your association has always played in the socio-economic development efforts particularly the high level of interest which you have demonstrated in the environmental sanitation advocacy of the State Government.
As you commence this year’s scientific meeting which I am aware, will usher in a new executive under the leadership of Dr. Efunsola Sowemimo, I sincerely hope that you will continue to partner with the government to ensure the success of all initiatives geared towards improving the quality of lives of our people.
Once again, I congratulate the President and the entire members of MWAN Lagos State branch and also wish you fruitful deliberations.
God bless you all.
Her Excellency
Mrs. Abimbola Fashola
First Lady of Lagos State
