It gives me great delight to be here today on the occasion of the launch of the maiden edition of the Advocate Magazine published by the Young Catholic Movement, Holy Cross Cathedral.
I congratulate the President and the entire members of the Movement on this occasion and also join you in giving praise to God almighty for making the dream of the magazine being launched today a reality. I also commend you all for your commitment towards spreading the words of God thereby contributing towards bringing about a more peaceful and happy society.
The birth of this magazine is a very welcome development which I believe, will serve as a credible source of information, knowledge, education and enlightenment particularly with respect to the Christian faith.
My message to you as this magazine makes its debut today, is to safeguard its credibility by ensuring that its content are well researched and based on facts. By so doing you will be raising the status of the magazine as a reference point on issues that are featured therein.
I enjoin everyone to support this initiative as well as the projects which I am informed will be executed through the proceed of this magazine launch.
Once again, I congratulate the entire members of the Young Catholic Movement and wish you success in your individual and collective efforts.
